♥ VWBC - Oct 08 2010: Featuring Two Moon Paradise
Introducing one of the most beautiful BEACH resorts in Second Life, owned and ran by Shiran Sabra.
Two Moon Paradise is designed/created by the brilliant creator, Galdor Willenov, and the awesome producer, Tella Carver.
They are all my precious friends, and I was so proud to introduce this region at my corner.
I, however, couldn't log into SL for the LIVE broadcast due to the SL server log-in trouble.
Did it, therefore, on SKYPE with "still" pict of meeee... oh no!

The sim is all about people getting together and laughing, dancing and sharing ideas. A place to express yourself no matter who or what you are.
We all have a mutual respect for each other and a love for the land. This is my family and this is where i call home. I can only hope that others feel the same way.

♥ VWBC - April 30: Featuring Linden Memorial Park
4月17日、リンデンメモリアルパークにて 今年で第三回目となる
Day of remembranceと言うイベントが執り行われました。
去る2008年にＳＬ内のバーチャルニューオーリンズにて、
ＳＬの住人でリアルで亡くなられた忘れられない人たちをしのぶ会が行われました。
その一年後、昨年4月22日、リンデンラボにより、Linden Memorial Parkとよばれる公園が私たち住民に提供されました。
現実世界で他界されたインワールドの住民の方々をはじめ、世界各地で起こった災害に巻き込まれたり、影響を受けてしまった住民の方々の為に、12ものシムを連結して作った広くて美しい公園です。
公園の中央には滝に囲まれた Shrine of remembranceと呼ばれる建物が位置し、その北側に献花台と花壇が常設されています。
そこでは、故人の名前の入ったお花を花壇に植える事ができますが、ここで入力出来るのは故人のアバター名だけで、リアルの名前は使用できません。
滝の流れる小高い丘の上には、ユニコーンがはるか沖合を眺めて立っています。
北西側にはメモリアルビーチがあり、そこからキャンドルを海に流すことができます。
キャンドルには思い出の名前を入れたり好きな色に変える事もできますよ。
こちらはアバター名である必要はありませんので、人でも動物でも物でも、なんでも自分の思いを込めて流すことができます。
その他、島の各所に様々なモニュメントや霊廟などが散在しています。
その中でこの様な物をみつけました。
これは戦争で不自由な体になられた退役軍人の為のＤＡＶと言う組織のもので、
組織自体には80年の歴史があるようです。
ソーシャルネットワーキングの道具としてＳＬが持つ高い機能性を利用し
閉鎖的な社会に留まりがちになってしまう人々が、パソコンさえあれば、様々な社交の場を持ち、また活躍することができるように、ＳＬを通じて支援を行っているようです。
もちろんこちらでは戦争によって命を落とされた方たちを偲ぶ思いも込められているようです。
島の東南に足を運ぶと、広大なイベントスペースも用意されています。
希望すればそこであらゆるメモリアルイベントを開く事が出来ます。
公園の一部のスペースだけを使った個人的な物から、最大では4つのシムを丸一日貸し切る事も出来ます。
予めサポートポータルからイベント・リクエストのチケットを提出する必要がありますが、基本的に住民であればどなたでも利用が可能です。
最後に小さな石のモニュメントを見つけました。
クリックしてみると何と「千の風になって」の英語の原詩の書いたノートが送られてきました。

There was a notice through a SL Mentor channel as "The SL Shakespeare Company needs Linguists", and i figured that they are in need of japanese translator....and that's how i got to know Ina Centaur, the woman with passion.

ひとつは Primtings ミュージアム というシム丸ごとの大きさの美術館です。
ここでは、プリムド・ペインティングス、つまり、３Ｄプリムやその他の技法を用いて表現されるアートを展示しています。
そしてもう一つが、今日取り上げるメタバース・シェークスピア劇団 の活動です。
2007年に創設されたメタバース・シェークスピア・カンパニー通称MSCは、バーチャル・ワールドであるセカンドライフ内で最初のプロによる演劇集団です。
「私たちが目指すのは、セカンドライフという枠を超越し、毎回の公演を
観客一人ひとりの心に直に響き、記憶に残るような作品にしていく事です。」

メタバース・シェークスピア・カンパニーは舞台セットや衣装、アバターデザイン、小道具の細部にまでオリジナルにこだわって作り上げています。
バーチャル演劇という枠を超え、ＳＬ内で、ウィリアム・シェークスピアに関連する劇場や建築物を歴史的に最も正確に表現しているキュレーターでもあります。
SLグローブ座、ブラックフライヤーズ座、そしてローズ座は、ロンドン考古学美術館を含む幾つもの定評あるソースから得た学識に基づいて建てられました。

ストラットフォードアポンエイボンの町にあるシェークスピアの生家などに加えて、
彼が初期の公演を行った劇場も再現しました。
ＳＬグローブ座で現在、上演中なのが「12夜の第二幕」です。
毎週、日本時間の月曜日の朝5時と、水曜日の朝10時に行われどなたでも無料でご覧いただけます。
ただし、個人で4つのシムの運営をされているInaさんにとって
皆さまからのご寄付やサポートは非常にありがたいそうです。

They use this very unique HUD "iMix4" for their jewelries.
You should really take a look how it works !

i had an interview with Mr Dilbert Dilweg, the ex-owner/creator of famous PhatCat Jazz (sounds pretty reminiscing for me, as i have so many beautiful memories there) and now, he runs Sweethearts Jazz Club with his loving SL/RL wife Charity.
Sweethearts could be a heaven for SL singles... where you can meet and socialize as in RL... here's the link for their Dating Clubwebsite.
you may be able to find your RL partner to be, the love of your life, here at Sweethearts just like Dilbert and Charity did.... they met in SL and partnered in RL !!
or... if you are fond of dancing, you can simply enjoy dancing with good music there.
Next to the dance floor and lounge, located a shopping mall where you can find SL's popular fashion brand names, including my favorite jeweller MANDALA.

セカンドライフの楽しみの一つには、ダンスがありますよね。
2006年に作られたPhatCatジャズクラブはその中でもとても有名なダンスクラブですので、ご存じの方が多いのではないでしょうか。
今回は、そのPhatCatのクリエーター、そしてオーナーであったDilbert Dilwegさんにお話しを伺いました。
そのPhatCatはすでに他の住民に売却されていますが、それにはちょっと深イイお話があるのです。
実は、Dilbertさんはセカンドライフ内でCharityさんと言う素敵な女性に出会い、二人は恋に落ちました。その後、一年の交際を経て、お二人はリアルでもパートナーになったのです。
そんな二人はしばらくSLをお休みされていました。
しかし、二人を出会わせて、結びつけてくれた、セカンドライフとリンデンラボへの感謝の気持ちを込めて、再びセカンドライフでの活動を開始。
クリエーターであるDilbertさんは、今度はCharityさんとご一緒に、新たにSweetheartsというジャズクラブを構築されたのです。
二人と同じような素敵な出会いが出来る場所を、他の住民の方にも提供したい―――そんな思いが込められているSweethearts。
南西側にある小さなハート形の島で、二人だけのダンスを楽しむ事も出来ますよ。
ヤシの木に囲まれたメイン・ダンスフロアの手前にはバーがあり、様々なフォーマルウエアに身を包んだ男女が語らっています。
フロアの西側には大きなクルーザーが停泊しており、そこでもダンスをしたりラウンジでゆったりとくつろいだりも出来ます。
社交クラブとしても人気の高いSweetheartsですが、そのトラフィック・カウントはSLで一番を誇り、なんと７万を超える驚異的な数字となっています。
もちろんこちらではボットなどの使用は一切禁じられていますので、その数字は真のトラフィック・カウントと言えるでしょう。
インワールドのグループ登録メンバーも２万人を超えています。
Sweetheartsに隣接するモールにはセカンドライフでも有名なショップが名を連ねています。
つい最近の事ですが、Tempuraアイランドで有名なKikunosukeさんの経営するジュエリーショップ、曼荼羅も、こちらに新店舗をオープンされました。
Sweethearts Jazz Clubは、Japan tempura island同様に、リンデンラボの「行き先ガイド」の中でも紹介されています。
オフィシャル・ウェブサイトでは世界中のシングルの方を対象にした会員制のクラブも運営しています。
言葉の壁のせいでしょうか、まだまだ、日本人のビジターは少ないとおっしゃっていました。

♥ Jan 15: Featuring - VWBC Behind the scenes
VWBC - We have LIVE broadcast from our studio in Second Life every Friday evening from 9PM.
I thought of introducing how it works.. behind the scenes....
as there are many people who do not come on screen but are devoting to make each live show alive and well !!
Every Thursday evening from 11PM, we have rehearsal at the SL studio.
We all look kind of relaxed on the sofas... :) A newscaster reads the news draft to let an AD check the length and the timing of whole news stream.
many people involved in backstage: as stage director, assistant director, setting manager, camera men, etc etc.... and some of them are in RL studio!
