♥ April 2nd - Metavers Shakespeare Comapny
There was a notice through a SL Mentor channel as "The SL Shakespeare Company needs Linguists", and i figured that they are in need of japanese translator....and that's how i got to know Ina Centaur, the woman with passion.
SLSC Metaverse Shakespeare Contributions Campaign 2010
Founded in 2007, the Metaverse Shakespeare Company (MSC), formerly known as the SL Shakespeare Company, a.k.a., SLSC, is the first and only professional theatrical production troupe set completely in the virtual world of Second Life.
"Our working philosophy aims to make each show memorable... to transcend the limits of Second Life, to really reach out to people... everywhere."

Created by legendary theatrical talent and guided by formidable scholarship, the Metaverse Shakespeare Company (MSC) makes immersive experiences for its virtual theatrical productions, setting standards in both artistic direction and technological innovation.
Beyond virtual theatre, Metaverse Shakespeare Company is curator of some of Second Life’s most historically accurate theatres and architecture relating to William Shakespeare.
Metaverse Shakespeare Company's SL Globe Theatre, Blackfriars Theatre, and Rose Theatre are constructed with deference to scholarship from a variety of reputable sources, including the Museum of London Archaeology. The SL Globe Theatre holds a maximum audience possible in a locality on SL, with its 4-island sim setup.
Old World meets New, Metaverse Shakespeare Company's Shakespeare island sim features an elegant, island-sized layout that connects the Bard's houses in Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon with the theatres that presented his original plays.

そして追求しています。その主軸となっている大きな活動が二つあります。
ひとつは Primtings ミュージアム というシム丸ごとの大きさの美術館です。
ここでは、プリムド・ペインティングス、つまり、３Ｄプリムやその他の技法を用いて表現されるアートを展示しています。
そしてもう一つが、今日取り上げるメタバース・シェークスピア劇団 の活動です。
2007年に創設されたメタバース・シェークスピア・カンパニー通称MSCは、バーチャル・ワールドであるセカンドライフ内で最初のプロによる演劇集団です。

メタバース・シェークスピア・カンパニーは舞台セットや衣装、アバターデザイン、小道具の細部にまでオリジナルにこだわって作り上げています。
バーチャル演劇という枠を超え、ＳＬ内で、ウィリアム・シェークスピアに関連する劇場や建築物を歴史的に最も正確に表現しているキュレーターでもあります。
SLグローブ座、ブラックフライヤーズ座、そしてローズ座は、ロンドン考古学美術館を含む幾つもの定評あるソースから得た学識に基づいて建てられました。
メタバース・シェークスピア・カンパニーの所有するシェークスピア・シムでは
ストラットフォードアポンエイボンの町にあるシェークスピアの生家などに加えて、
彼が初期の公演を行った劇場も再現しました。
ＳＬグローブ座で現在、上演中なのが「12夜の第二幕」です。
毎週、日本時間の月曜日の朝5時と、水曜日の朝10時に行われどなたでも無料でご覧いただけます。
ただし、個人で4つのシムの運営をされているInaさんにとって
皆さまからのご寄付やサポートは非常にありがたいそうです。
募金キャンペーンも実施中で、寄付の金額に応じてキャンドルや壁に貢献者の名前を彫刻したり、プライベート公演など様々な特典が用意されています。
英語のパンフレットはこちらのサイトになります。私が翻訳をした日本語のパンフレットも近々アップされるようです。
なにはともあれ、是非、十二夜の公演に足を運んでみて下さい。

♥ * STYLE *
Japanese huge music event in SL called "STYLE" took place on the 11th and 12th.
they'd created three stages on three regions, and 42 of japanese artists had gathered.
all the artists were allowed to have 25 min of stage.
on each region, we had more than 50 audience ! naturally the places were packed....got over-populated and crashed several times during those two days!
oh my.. it was soo laggy that it was so hard to control your avatar, it took so long even to walk for 2 meters...
VWBC had live broadcast for over 7 hours, did some interviews with artists.

Incredibly laggy it was... and took soo long to even rez my skin!
as a whole, it was an incredible event... with those talented japanese artists... all the shows were fascinating.
but if we do that next year, we should prolly limit access of audience for less than 40 or even 30.
otherwise, some stage effects as using particles wouldn't work, not to mention sim crashes, or lags.....

i was there with my new BAX COEN red boots !!
well... Lauren is just one of a kind....
whenever i go see her shows, she always makes me laugh and forget about a nuisance of RL or even SL.
only problem is my comprehension.
as English is not my mother tongue and i can only get approx 80 percent of her hilarious stories ...
even in my SL life, i have ups and of course downs...
SL to me is.... that i am supposed to be in-world to have fun, release my stress form RL, yes! it is supposed to be my oasis.
... but in reality... yeah, in SL reality.. i have to face some difficulties or even get hurt or feel pain...
especially at times like these, when i need some kind of a healing... she has this special power to brighten me up !
yay ! ty always for being there, making me smile and warm me up !

hrm... it's already September... mid September.... yeah
Sooo many things had happened in RL lately and didn't have time to update the blog...*sigh*
In order to refresh myself, i went to see my favorite Lauren's Show. Yes, she always makes me laugh, and brighten up my days. :)
How lucky I am to start a wonderful day by watching her performance there at Lauren's Dive at Ivy Falls. That was also her first TV show... yay !

yay !! i've just found this video uploaded !
say Lauren, how can you be so sweet and funny always !!!
i wish i could use voice and laugh one day during your show... but ... since english is not my mother tongue i'm afraid that i may laugh "real loud" at the wrong timing, hehe !
♪ i simply remember my favorite things..... ♪
i was actually there to see you sang this hilarious version of "my favorite things" live on stage at the bridal fair, but sooo glad that i can watch it over and over and over again with this HD video !!
well well well... now i feel like wearing a wedding dress tooooooo, but if i get a wedding dress, then i bet i would need a bridegroom standing next to me, huh ?!
or, i will simply create a guy alt...... hmmm.... sounds stupid, doesn't it ?!

*Law firm office politics and an invitation to her 20th year high school reunion send Sonia over the brink. Her office machines come to life as her co-workers, who further taunt her until she starts killing them. Although her nightmare resolves back into real life, Sonia is a changed woman.*
This production is bound to be on the ground floor of the new performing art forms emerging from virtual worlds. If you’ve ever worked in an office ? or even if you haven’t ? there’s something to amuse everyone.

♥ Relay For Life event at Lauren's Place
went to a Relay For Life event at Lauren's Place yesterday.
Relay For Life (often shortened to Relay) is a fundraising event of the American Cancer Society.

Lauren Weyland is my favorite stand-up comedianne in SL and my dearest friend.
60 ppl gathered in one sim and naturally kinda laggy it was... but
i certainly did enjoy myself being there !
(although i crashed at the last min.)
there were some great performers other than Lauren.
