♥ VWBC - Oct 08 2010: Featuring Two Moon Paradise
Introducing one of the most beautiful BEACH resorts in Second Life, owned and ran by Shiran Sabra.
Two Moon Paradise is designed/created by the brilliant creator, Galdor Willenov, and the awesome producer, Tella Carver.
They are all my precious friends, and I was so proud to introduce this region at my corner.
I, however, couldn't log into SL for the LIVE broadcast due to the SL server log-in trouble.
Did it, therefore, on SKYPE with "still" pict of meeee... oh no!
Message from Shiran, the owner:
The sim is all about people getting together and laughing, dancing and sharing ideas. A place to express yourself no matter who or what you are.
We all have a mutual respect for each other and a love for the land. This is my family and this is where i call home. I can only hope that others feel the same way.

♥ VWBC - June 04: Featuring Virtual Abyssinia
Now, the newest Virtual Abyssinia is being set up in two full-sized sims.
Please find the region called Abyssinia on the map.
You TP there and arrive at the vicinity of Zula on the Red Sea coast, site of ancient Aksumite port city of Adulis.
The ancient road to the highlands winds up the valley that opens at the base of the escarpment next to the landing site.

♥ VWBC - April 30: Featuring Linden Memorial Park
4月17日、リンデンメモリアルパークにて 今年で第三回目となる
Day of remembranceと言うイベントが執り行われました。
去る2008年にＳＬ内のバーチャルニューオーリンズにて、
ＳＬの住人でリアルで亡くなられた忘れられない人たちをしのぶ会が行われました。
その一年後、昨年4月22日、リンデンラボにより、Linden Memorial Parkとよばれる公園が私たち住民に提供されました。
現実世界で他界されたインワールドの住民の方々をはじめ、世界各地で起こった災害に巻き込まれたり、影響を受けてしまった住民の方々の為に、12ものシムを連結して作った広くて美しい公園です。
公園の中央には滝に囲まれた Shrine of remembranceと呼ばれる建物が位置し、その北側に献花台と花壇が常設されています。
そこでは、故人の名前の入ったお花を花壇に植える事ができますが、ここで入力出来るのは故人のアバター名だけで、リアルの名前は使用できません。
滝の流れる小高い丘の上には、ユニコーンがはるか沖合を眺めて立っています。
北西側にはメモリアルビーチがあり、そこからキャンドルを海に流すことができます。
キャンドルには思い出の名前を入れたり好きな色に変える事もできますよ。
こちらはアバター名である必要はありませんので、人でも動物でも物でも、なんでも自分の思いを込めて流すことができます。
その他、島の各所に様々なモニュメントや霊廟などが散在しています。
その中でこの様な物をみつけました。
これは戦争で不自由な体になられた退役軍人の為のＤＡＶと言う組織のもので、
組織自体には80年の歴史があるようです。
ソーシャルネットワーキングの道具としてＳＬが持つ高い機能性を利用し
閉鎖的な社会に留まりがちになってしまう人々が、パソコンさえあれば、様々な社交の場を持ち、また活躍することができるように、ＳＬを通じて支援を行っているようです。
もちろんこちらでは戦争によって命を落とされた方たちを偲ぶ思いも込められているようです。
島の東南に足を運ぶと、広大なイベントスペースも用意されています。
希望すればそこであらゆるメモリアルイベントを開く事が出来ます。
公園の一部のスペースだけを使った個人的な物から、最大では4つのシムを丸一日貸し切る事も出来ます。
予めサポートポータルからイベント・リクエストのチケットを提出する必要がありますが、基本的に住民であればどなたでも利用が可能です。
最後に小さな石のモニュメントを見つけました。
クリックしてみると何と「千の風になって」の英語の原詩の書いたノートが送られてきました。

The Resident Help Network (RHN) program is designed to promote "the best of the best" volunteer-run help groups inworld through a cohesive network. Linden Lab reviews each group through an application process, and each group that passes muster is added to our approved network. The first groups into the new searchable network are listed below:
